The condition of a home before you make a purchase should be considered. Learn about the types of repairs and issues that need addressing prior to putting it back on the market or up for rent. In most cases you cannot take a foreclosure that is run down and turn around and put it back on the market the next day. If the market is so bad that the entire neighborhood is for sale then you may not have a very good chance of making a sale when you are ready to flip the house. If the location is bad then it could also affect the price that you are going to be able to put the distressed properties up for sale.

There are many considerations when you choose a house that you want to invest in. It could be a really cheap house or a home that is foreclosed. No matter what the situation is you need to consider the price, the condition, and the location.
